Buenos Aires, January 15 (NA) -- Mauricio Morales, the owner of the firm suspected of scams with graduation dinners and who was arrested last December in San Juan, will remain in preventive detention. According to the official statement accessed by the Argentine News Agency, Judge Juan Manuel Pina ordered the preventive detention of Mauricio Morales, owner of the company 'Ok Catering, Eventos & Egresados'. The man is charged with the crime of generic fraud and will continue to be held in the Provincial Penitentiary. This order was issued within the framework of one of the cases he has accumulated for similar frauds regarding defrauded events that did not take place, including graduation parties, weddings, and 15th birthday celebrations. In total, the accused has 24 cases against him, and the victims to date would be around 140 families affected by graduation dinners that did not occur, although the number could be higher as all necessary statements have yet to be received.
